Unable to connect to data networks with my Jelly Pro

I moved my old SIM into my new Jelly phone, and I am unable to connect to any networks to use data.  I can connect to wifi and both receive and send text messages and calls.  I visited a shop run by my network provider (3, UK) who confirmed that the APN settings were correct.  The phone shows that it is capable of connecting to 4G networks but never actually connects.

Is this an error or is there a setting I'm missing?

I had the same problem with Virgin. The settings given in list referred to in the answer are out of date as there is now a new host network Proximus, but even the correct settings from the Virgin forum do not work.

Since the above post I have changed to the EE network with exactly the same results. I suspect the phone is faulty, but before I return it can anyone suggest anything else.

Double check the APN settings again.  If one number is incorrect or if they used a "comma" instead of a "period" it will not work.

The APN settings for UK providers can be found at the bottom of this page: https://www.androidpit.com/uk-apn-settings

In Canada the settings can be found here: https://apn-canada.gishan.net/en
