Just found this Spotify Lite version. I'm going to give it a go.


 EDIT: It's not compatible with Jelly Pro!

I just came here to ask the same question!

One thing I can say is that it's been working fine with Spotify for a good year. Only in the two weeks has it started crashing for me.

I tried disabling battery optimization for Spotify, but that didn't help.

I think the phone is running out of resources and the app is crashing.

I'm going to try reverting spotify to an older version and clear data. Maybe the latest update is using too many resources.

If that doesn't work I'll try a factory reset of the phone.

I just purchased the Jelly Pro, and I am already having problems with playback on Spotify: The app will frequently and randomly stop playback. I cannot even listen to a whole song without playback stopping and the app shutting down. This does not happen with spotify on any of my other devices. Is there anything I can do to correct this, or do I have a faulty Jelly Pro?
