Titan Slim perfect phone

Titan Slim - my perfect phone, being a big fan of the qwerty keyboard, I just love it. minuses - I didn't find anything, in fact the software update would be a minus, otherwise everything is ok.

Back to the future!

I tried Titan, Titan Pocket and finally SLIM version arrived. We are back to the future. Right dimension, perfect keyboard, fast and modern. The first real bb's heir. Well done!

Great PKB smartphone for daily use!

Apps like Uber, Amazon, and Gmail work well. No issues with speed or lagging but Chrome did crash on me once so far.

Calls are clear, and speaker volume is good but ringtones/notifications could be louder (again I am old).

The battery seems strong.

Most importantly: typing. The keyboard is a bit cramped and as to be expected the alt/shift keys are oddly placed at the top. The home button/fingerprint access is on the top row and is kind of a faux-spacebar button. It works albeit a bit sensitive. Again this will just take some getting used to but is all fully functional as is.

Not a techie by any means but I'm delighted to have a keyboard phone once again. With some improvements, this could be the device all of us BB loyalists have been waiting for.
Easy setup on T-Mobile, no weird settings or need to call customer service. Note that the top slot is actually sim card #2. No 5g on this phone, no SD slot, and no headphone jack (comes with an adapter through the charging port).

Great replacement for my Blackberry Key2

Running Android 8, it was time to replace my Key2. I'm a fan of the tactile keyboards - I've never owned a smart phone without one. When I checked Unihertz out online, I was dismayed by the size of the Titan - too big (like the Blackberry Passport), and the Titan Pocket - too small (like the original Blackberries). But the Titan Slim looked just right. I've had it for 3 days now and I absolutely LOVE it. It's taken me a couple of days to get it set up the way I want, but it has intuitive features well beyond the scope of my former Blackberry Key2. From a form size, it is slightly smaller and slightly thicker, but in the case (which Unihertz provides for free) it is the right size to fit my old Key2 wallet.

I was worried about moving from a Blackberry to another phone, but the Titan Slim was the right decision. Plus the slightly angled keypad makes it even easier to type messages without looking at my thumbs - which was always one of the key features of the various Blackberries I've owned.

I get it, some people might like other features. The lack of a microSD slot threw me at first (but with 240 gb internal, I've loaded everything off my microSD and have room to spare). No headphone jack, but there is an adaptor (in the box) that works off the USB-C port. A couple of other wrinkles, but it is still far ahead of my Key2, and at 1/2 to 1/3 of the price (if you can even find a new Key2 out there). I'll stick with the Titan Slim, and next time I need a replacement phone, I'll check out Unihertz first.
